What is it about a sunset that warms the soul and seems to provide us a momentary glimpse of heaven? I don't know the answer and it is probably different for everyone, but I know that light plays an important role. No two sunsets ever seem the same and and no single sunset stays static. It keeps evolving. A great sunset may last only a few moments as the light plays out in perfect harmony with the clouds and sky. Other times the magic seems to go on forever captivating those who have taken the time to marvel in its beauty. Every part of the sky during a sunset can create another image as the light transforms each area into dramatic scenes.
Each of the images below were a small part of one sunset. We sat spellbound as we enjoyed all the different sunsets in this one great evening.

I stepped randomly on your blog. read about your great sailing and thought I have enjoyed reading about your adventure and thought it not right just to leave without leaving a note. The pictures are wonderful. I am not much of a sailor but I think it must be a pretty good holiday when you take the "cook" with you and everything is so well organised. Interesting posts, thank you.
Titania,
Very nice of you to leave a comment, thanks for dropping by.
