Hot chocolate with breakfast, hot tea mid morning. Thunder comes and goes.
I catch up on the logbook. A little before noon the heavy rains stop. A few straggling thunderstorms pass nearby.
I read, relax, stay warm and dry in my drysuit. I wear the drysuit not because the tent is leaking, but because with the wind and heavy rains moisture is everywhere.
Sunny mid-afternoon, open up the boom tent.
Every so often it is time, time to say thank you. Very Inspirational, very teasing, beckoning my soul to get out and test myself in your way - no schedule, no need for societal norm desires - true freedom. Can I do it, alone, stuck with weather limits and be a peace? I hope I get the chance (once retired) to find out. Thanks for helping me wonder and dream Steve
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rob, for the nice comment. I really do this log for myself, figuring someday that I will be sitting in the rocking chair and remembering these sails. If anyone finds something here that benefits them, then I am glad for that. Steve
