I could not cover long distances with it.
The straight line distance from Chincoteague to the southern tip of the eastern shore then north to the town of Cape Charles is 80 miles. Going inside in the channels behind the barrier island the distance could be almost twice that. There is one and only one place to get fuel between Chincoteague and Cape Charles and that is Wachapreague.

Hopefully we won't use any fuel, but I want to be prepared.

steveStevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17060896232365651376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137810012036013226.post-57611335729665100702013-04-25T03:28:37.893-04:002013-04-25T03:28:37.893-04:00Do you keep a pair of long oars on board, or at le...Do you keep a pair of long oars on board, or at least a sculling oar?Billhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14950317902951463280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5137810012036013226.post-22573989518172603882013-04-24T22:58:26.139-04:002013-04-24T22:58:26.139-04:00Ideally, the less you need to start the outboard, ...Ideally, the less you need to start the outboard, the better.Baydoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00751866865203182109noreply@blogger.com
