island life

Down to Hatteras for a few days of work.  Sunny, warm and very peaceful.  It is not easy to get to the island.  My jeep bottomed out a couple of times driving in the deep ruts through the sand where the road has been washed out.  Most restaurants are closed.  The docks are quiet, the beaches empty.
