a taste of summer


An inexpensive cut of lamb (ok, cheap), cucumber salad with fresh ground sea salt and lemon juice, grilled sweet banana peppers, slices of tomato with ground pepper and grilled corn.  Got to enjoy summer while it is here.

    Best thing is, cheap lamb tastes as good or better than expensive. Reason? More fat.

    I stayed last night in Chestertown, ate crabcakes at the Fish Whistle, and got a glimpse of "Sultana" moored out in the middle of the river.

    Thanks for the recommendation. Nice little historic town.

    Just got home in Carolina and after viewing the photo, I'm hungry again.
