Steve: Such wonderful light in Maine, glad you're getting to experience it. Like being in a technicolor movie - the Golden Hour and that crisp side-lighting lasts almost all day! If you're still DownEast in two weeks, make sure not to miss the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta on August 5 (and the lead-up races around Castine and Camden). The Course Maps are online, but best spot to see the action IMHO is Egg Rock (44.1845°n , 68.5092°w). And then sail into Brooklin for the finale. Wishing you Fair Winds!
