We had a nice winter day with lots of sun and temps in the mid-50's. I rolled the boat out of the garage and spent the day cleaning, sanding and painting. It felt good to sit inside the boat and feel the warmth of the sun (even if it was just parked on a street).
The painting is all touch up work. Some sea green for the hull and rudder. Glossy white for the decks. Battleship grey for work on the cb trunk. And varnish for the rub rails and coaming. The boat has taken a beating over four seasons of use. That's fine, I don't mind the wear and tear if I am having fun.Warm temperatures should continue for the next three days of my long weekend so I should get a lot more work done and be ready to go by March.
