doctor's orders

I've been doing my therapy twice a day.

I can make three laps of the living room without a cane.

I've reduced my medication by more than half.

I can raise my left foot without pain.

I put on my shoes and tied them without help.

I've been eating lots of protein, but only
because the doctor ordered.

I still have a ways to go.

Cold salty oysters will cure what ails you, my grandmother in Kitty Hawk said so.

Soon, you'll be in some warm salty water to help that process along and you'll get healed up and haired over. She said the ocean did that too.

Come to think of it, she also jerked back my arm when I reached for a short piece wire laying in the yard. When I asked her why, she said it my have some electricity left over in it. Maybe you should just listen to the doctor.

Keep up the good work.

No time to waste. Got to get ready better sooner than later. Spring may get around earlier this year. Sounds great you are making a quick recovery.

I prescribe bacon. And bourbon.

That is my professional medical opinion.

Oysters, salt water, bacon...definitely. Might hold off on the bourbon until I'm off the pain killers. But I'll check with my doctor first.

Bourbon? Laphroaig is the universal panacea.
