just add palm trees, a glass of Laphroaig (updated)

Many people have asked me "What is Webb Chiles like?"  To find out, listen to this interview just published on 59° North.  It is best to be pretending that you are sitting on a boat in San Diego's palm tree-lined Quivira Basin and having a sip of Laphroaig or maybe a plastic glass of warm white wine.  That is what Webb is like.

Update:  The Ocean Cruising Club has just announced that Webb Chiles will be a recipient this year of their prestigious Jester Medal.  Congratulations, Webb.

Hey Steve. Just catching up on you and Webb after a busy holiday season (and conversion to a new PC... what a pain).

Happy to hear your 'upgrade' is going well. I'm confident you'll be hopping on Spartina with your usual gusto soon.

While I'm still a ways from being on the water myself, I very much look forward to reading about your sailing season.

Best regards,
Bill

Thanks, Bill. Good to hear from you. Off season....no fun. A bit of sun and warmth today, hope to get out for a walk. Can't wait to start working on Spartina again.
