Out before dawn at Shelter Island. A light mist, so light that
I wasn't sure if it was rain or just a heavy marine layer moving
through. The lights of downtown glowed to the east.
The same boats that have been there for years rocked gently at
moorings on the bay. Footsteps on the docks as the live-aboards started their day.
I carried my little Fuji X-20 along for the walk, set at the
"SP." I'm not sure what that means,
other than it works well in low light.
After one lap around the island the skies brightened.
More light, but less interesting light, so I put the camera away.
