Add an instagram filter and it looks better.

No, not yet. I am rebuilding the v-berth hatch (wood), then start work on the boom gallows installation. After that it's all varnish and I'll be ready.

Hi Steve - have been enjoying your blog for a number of years. I have finally started my Pathfinder build. A quick question - prompted after seeing looking at your water line paint divide. How parallel is the water line plane to that of the bunk flat. I guess I am asking - does the bunk flat slope up to the bow during normal sailing conditions, but become level when you are forward sleeping on the bunk flat. Regards, Tim

The bunk flat does slope up towards the bow. I can't give you a specific measurement but is a gentle slope. I sleep on it quite well. It might be part of the design - John could tell you if this is true or not - so that any water on the bunk flat collects to one area and is more easily pumped or sponged out. steve
