a few photographs

Back home again.  Began with the Small Craft Festival in St. Michaels, ended with the Downrigging Festival in Chestertown.  Plus a few weeks in between for sailing Chesapeake Bay.   One of my morning challenging trips, the almost constant north winds made for some rough sailing.  The boat, with new sails, handled it just fine.  This was also a very social trip, saw a bunch of friends along the way.

Hope to start the daily logs in about a week.

Great news, Steve. Glad we were able to meet, and you found a couple of creeks to tuck into for weather !!!

Shawn, it was great to finally meet you in person. I just wish we had more time to visit. And your recommendations for anchoring for the approaching nor’easter were perfect. You might have noticed I used Rollins Cove, which you had pointed out, to wait out the rain and wind. Perfect place. Looking forward to seeing you again. Steve

wonderful photos! Contrast (dark clouds) is so enlightning... Love the nuts and the amazing "spray" capture. Steve isn't it time for a book? Big (coffee table) photo book with a few stories sprinkled in? Heck you could do a series of them!
