friends

I met these three dogs last year outside the bakery. This year they were on my dock. Good to have friends in Chestertown.

People wonder why I come to Chestertown a few days before the Downrigging Festival begins. This is why.

blustery sail up the Chester

This front and continuing days a strong N and NW winds have cost me the top of the bay. No way can I sail N on the open bay. I'll spend the rest of the week exploring the Chester River.  No complaints about that, it’s a beautiful River.

Tilghman Island and a correction

At Tilghman Island for a couple days to relax,
resupply and enjoy the waterfront. And a correction: a few days ago when converting nautical miles to miles I made an error and claimed a 48 day of sailing. The correct number is 43 miles. But it was a great 43 miles!
