heading to warmer weather

Too cold to varnish today.

Legal issues resolved (favorably!).

And a last week of use-or-lose vacation.

I'm heading out to San Diego to see my Mom and, of course, do a little planning with Bruce. These are a couple of photos that Bruce shot around San Diego. The top one is from the cliffs of Torrey Pines. And below, I'm guessing, is from the Children's Pool at Casa Cove in La Jolla.

Nice photos Bruce.

Can't wait to get back to my home town. (Below is a photo of a planning session. Can't you tell? We are very serious when making plans.)

And serious you should be. Beer is an important ingredient of any planning session. For real!

Paul: Surely they can't be serious.
Dawn: They are serious, and don't call me Shirley.

Paul,
thanks for reminding me about "Airplane!" as I was boarding a cross country flight and had to wait while the power went out and then wait some more for them to get the snow off the wings.
Baydog,
showed up in SD to find my Mom had stocked the fridge with Bohemia. She has the same outlook on planning as we do.
