It was a cold, windy day. I could never understand what the auctioneer was saying. I guess it worked out ok. Sad to see the land leave the family after 160 or so years, but it was the best thing to do.

Steve I tried to leave a message for Bruce but it was kind of cryptic,I to have a family heirloom in the form of a sailing dory and am now all crippled up. On my blog one can take a look at it(1939 sloop rigged) I've been combing blogs for someone that has love of sailing and cruising.It has to go as I do.A sailor or river runner could get it for s song.Literally--Take a look,located in Carlsbad---Jehope
