Looks like you tucked back in there a bit.
Zoom in the photo and look to the left at the first set of pines on the sound shoreline. Then down a bit and you'll see a sandy beach (it would have been on your right after entering). We found lots of ancient glass and pottery shards on that beach. Dana has them displayed around the house.
Yes, I can see the beach from here. If it wasn't so windy and cool I would motor over there and go for a wade. Next time.....
