thinking

I'll be home in two day, just a little over two weeks before we leave on the fall trip.  There is a lot of work to be done in those two weeks.  I've been trying to think about it, but I'm too busy during the day and too tired at night.  But I'll start a list here.

gas, two gallons
oil, four little bottles of the synthetic kind
lithium batteries
load the waypoints onto the gps
update the SPOT profile
check on car rental places on the Eastern Shore
check air pressure in trailer tires
fishing lures

I'll add to the list when I can think of more things.

Steve,

I noticed that you are loading Waypoints in your Garmin. Over the years I found out that it is easier to create a Route and then follow the Route. I use GeoGarage, a free web site to lay out my route. Then I transfer it to my Garmin by a GPX file. For Watertribe races I screen capture the GeoGarage charts, print double sided and laminate to create a flip charts. On a small boat full size charts can be a hand full. Let me know if you are interested.

Paul,

I do laminated screen shots too. They can be helpful. As for the route, I usually don't have a specific route. I'll mark waypoints for significant features, protection, harbors, etc, then make up the route as I go along. But I have heard of your method and will look into it. Thanks
