caught

You can't get away with anything these days.  The image is from Eddie, who is building a Sooty Tern.  His brother, who took the photograph, must have been in one of the tall buildings in downtown Norfolk yesterday.  Thanks, Eddie.

The price of fame.

Oh...I thought a sooty tern was a diesel-powered drone photo-copter

That too, Baydog. It's also a nice sailboat.

Just reading recipes for smoking fresh oysters. Have you ever tried that??

Reminds me of the photo of Web Chiles leaving on his round the world attempt aboard Chidiock Tichborne. (didn't someone tell you that you were sailing a Drascombe?)

Yes, Chip, I thought of that same photo of Webb's boat. A couple of people had thought she was a drascombe, and one old salt in Beaufort KNEW it was a drascombe and insisted I was wrong when I said it was not.

Have you had a chance to get out on the water??

I went with my wife yesterday. Suppose to be 10 to 12 mph winds and started out that way. Ended up with a long beat home in 20+ mph.
She didn't like that.
